 Qiu HuaDong (Chinese), famous young writer, was born in Henan, chief editor of “Youth Literature”, and member director of Beijing Writers' Association. He published six novels--“Taboo of Summer” (?????????????), “Promise of The Night” (???????????), “Turbulence In The Daytime” (?????????????), “Confession In The Noon” (??????????????), “Flowery” (?????), “The Hunter's Star of Dianna” (??????????????????). His over 100 novelettes as well as over 1000 proses, critiques and poems, were classified into novelettes collection--“The Flash Over The Dark River” (???????????????????),  “Game of The Cry” (???????????), “New Humankind In The Urban” (????????????), “Midnight Revel” (???????????) etc; prose collection--“Beautiful Kanas” (?????????????), Private Notebook“ (???????????), “Stroll In The Midnight's City” (??????????????????); Literary and cultural critiques collection--“Living With The Masters” (????????????????), “Appreciating The Sword Under The Lamp” (?????????롮), “108 Film Masters of The world” (??????????????108??); poetry anthology--“Flower and Rock” (?????????????), “From Fire to Water” (??????????) and so on, all adds up to more than 50 versions of publication and over four million wordage. Qiu's works have been translated into English, German, Japanese and Korean, etc. Some of his works were adapted to dramas and films. One of his novels was nominated as “Laoshe Literature Prize”, and he also won dozens of novel prizes of “Shanghai Literature” and of “Mountain Flowers”.
