 Chen Yunhui (German), famous writer and playwright, was born in Taiwan, and moved to Germany. She obtained her master degree in history and PHD degree in literature from National Social advanced Scientific Institute of France (????????????????????????????). At the same time, she studied drama in France and had the theatrical experiences of practice and performance in Paris and New York. She directed many dramatic productions for Taiwan National Theater while taught in the theatrical department of Taiwan Cultural University. Chen was once a journalist in New York for the newspaper of Taiwan “China Times” (????????????), and a French language compiler of Europe Daily (???????????) in France. Presently living in Munich, Germany, she holds the position of European special commissioner of United Taiwan (???????), and writes for the authoritative newspaper of Germany--?????? Daily (????????????). Chen won many great prizes in Taiwan news circles; her productions include proses, drama and novels. Her novels were adapted to dramas and films, and won prizes in Cannes. Her novel “The Family of Sea-God” (????????????) published in 2004 was awarded as one of the ten annual best sellers in Taiwan. Other publications include: “Ants of Drama” (???????)
