Tao Ran (Hong Kong), famous writer and essayist, chief editor of “Hong Kong Literature”. Tao was born in Bandung, Indonesia, and graduated from Beijing Teachers' University. He published his novel--“Pursuit” (?????), “Walk Along With You” (???????????) and “The Same Sky” (??????????????). Tao was once the member of assessment committee of “Youth Literature Prize”, “Article-Collecting Prize of Oriental Daily”, “Article-Collecting Prize of Readers' Digest”, “Macao Literature Prize”, “Hong Kong University Literature Prize”, Hong Kong “Chinese Literature Creation Prize”, Hong Kong “Chinese Literature Biyearly Prize”, and the recommend assessment member of the 2nd and 3rd “Chinese Literature Mass Media Prize”. Tao is now the member of Chinese Writers' Association, vice-chairman of Hong Kong Writers' Association, visiting scholar of Suzhou University, and visiting researcher of Philosophical and Cultural Institute of Guangdong Social Science Academy.
